Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
The aggressive and sack-happy New Orleans defense is a solid play versus an Atlanta offense that ranked 11th (tie) in sacks allowed and averaged close to two turnovers per contest in 2013.
4 Sacks, 1 Ints

After a historically awful 2012 season the Saints defense played much better under new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and his aggressive play calling. They played solid against both the pass and run while managing to generate plenty of sacks. They failed to generate enough big plays especially interceptions. The acquisition of ball hawking safety Jairus Byrd and veteran cornerback Champ Bailey should remedy that.
