Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Week 7 Projections
The Kansas City Chiefs offense has been a little more mistake prone than usual, allowing 2.8 sacks per game and committing 1.4 turnovers per contest. However, the Chiefs are usually very productive and efficient when they play at home. The New Orleans Saints have coughed up a league-high 33.5 points per game and rank 25th in sacks.
2 Sacks, 1 Ints, 1 Fumbles
The Saints were bad on defense last year. Really, really bad. And in an effort to fix that leaky defense big changes are afoot. The team brought in veteran middle linebacker James Laurinaitis to run a new 4-3 front. Drafted Louisville defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins in Round 1. New DC Larry Allen was realistic about his unit while speaking with the New Orleans Times-Picayune. 'We're starting from ground zero,' Allen said. 'We're going to be judged on what we do from this point going forward. That's the way we've got to look at it.' The Saints aren't a unit totally bereft of talent (holdovers like Cameron Jordan and Kenny Vaccaro), but it would take a ridiculously juicy fantasy matchup for us to consider even using the Saints as a matchup play. Short of that perfect storm, this is a squad to steer clear from.
