Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The struggling Houston defense is a weak play. During the last month, the Texans have averaged two sacks and one forced turnover per game. In that same time frame, the Jaguars offense has allowed an average of 2.8 sacks per contest and turned the ball over an average of 1.3 times per outing.
In 2011 the Texans made a move for Dallas stalwart Wade Philips, adding his defensive mind to the talents of acquisitions J.J.Watt, Johnathan Joseph and Daniel Manning giving sophomore lynchpin Brian Cushing playmakers at every level around him. The Texans have never looked back. Expect more of the same in 2013.
