Season Projections
The 9-7 Houston Texans weren't exactly a juggernaut in 2015, but they were good enough to win the AFC South, thanks in no small part to a defense anchored by defensive end J.J. Watt. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year raised eyebrows back in April when, per Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports, Watt indicated his days in the NFL may be numbered. 'I have no idea when it's going to be, when I'll retire,' Watt said. 'I'm not saying it's not going to be two, three, four years. But I'm also not saying it's going to be nine, 10, 11 years. I literally do not know the answer.' Granted, Watt isn't going anywhere yet, and to say he's the NFL's best defensive player is an understatement. However, as good as Watt and the Texans are defensively, this is still a unit that ranked outside the top 10 in most fantasy scoring systems in 2015. The lesson here is a clear one -- Houston may be a solid weekly defense in 2016, but it isn't in any way a sure bet. Don't overspend, or you'll wind up wondering Watt the hell happened.
