Was Houston’s success last week (six points allowed, three sacks, two recovered fumbles, a touchdown off a blocked punt) the product of a bounce-back effort or the product of playing a struggling Washington offense? It was likely a combination of both. The Texans likely will blitz rookie Derek Carr non-stop and try to rattle him. Consider the Houston defense a decent starting option.

The long and short of the Texans defense will depend on the health of linebacker Brian Cushing. When he is on the field it is a very productive unit. Unfortunately he's missed 20 games the last two seasons.
