Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
With only two 100-yard outings and no touchdowns scored in his last seven games, Jones obviously has been disappointing. Unfortunately, he is too talented to bench - unless your team is absolutely loaded at wideout. Consider Jones a middling fantasy play this week versus a Cleveland Browns defense that gave up the ninth-fewest fantasy points to enemy wideouts during the last four weeks. By the way, Jones likely will have to deal with shadow coverage from capable Browns cornerback Joe Hayden for at least part of the afternoon. FRIDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Jones (illness) took part in a full practice today. The Falcons list him as PROBABLE for Week 12.
Julio began 2013 on a tear before breaking his foot in Week 5 which sent the Falcons season further into a severe tailspin. Jones has been cleared for training camp but will be limited in terms of his snaps per the Falcons. In fact, the Falcons have already picked up the fifth-year option on Jones and are looking to sign him to a long-term deal, which shows how confident they are in his long-term health. The Falcons are also looking to extend Jones' running-mate, Roddy White, who provides a legitimate threat on the other side of the field forcing defenses to shift coverage away from Jones. Some owners will shy away from Jones due to his injury history, don't be one of them. Jones will be taking things slowly during training camp but should pick right up where he left off last season come Week 1.
Just a quick story for the Falcons fans.
I heard that Alge Crumpler - in the the year before he left the Falcons - was going to be at the Perimeter Mall Macy's doing autographs one day, so I picked up my son and headed over there to see him. We ...
Not a Falcons fan (and I see this forum has not been visited much recently), but I think Falcons fans should pound the drums for their old uniforms (early Vick era) and Falcon logo back before this new stadium is completed.
That old uniform was ...
