Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Last season Anquan Boldin led the Ravens in targets with 112 while Smith finished second with 110. During the offseason the Ravens dealt Boldin to the 49ers for a 6th round pick while deciding to not add a player of significance to the wide receiver corps thus opening up more targets for Smith. Smith has already been challenged by Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome to ‘step up.’ The loss of future HOFers Ed Reed and Ray Lewis on the defensive side of the ball will force the Ravens to improve upon their 16th rated passing offense and Smith should be the beneficiary. Although, we predict top-10 production from Smith he’ll cost you a lot less on draft day.
