Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 1 Projections
Torrey Smith is consistently inconsistent. That sounds strange, but he is just as likely to score five points as 25. He is the #1 WR here, but merits only WR3 or flex status, at best, in your lineup.
Receiving: 4 Receptions, 54 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
After setting a career-high with 11 TD catches in 2014 while with Baltimore, Smith left via free agency and signed a five-year $40 million deal ($22 million guaranteed) with the 49ers. Aside from setting a career-high in yards per catch (20.1), he set career-lows in receptions and receiving yards while tying a career-low with 4 TD receptions. Enter Chip Kelly. After what happened in Philadelphia last year, fantasy owners are very weary of owning any San Fran players. Especially when the choices at QB are former first-round bust Blaine Gabbert, rookie Jeff Driskel or Colin Kaepernick whose career has been in a free fall the last couple of years. But, the 49ers are a terrible team that will be behind a lot this season and will need to throw the ball. Smith is by far the best of what the 49ers have to offer and should rebound after a terrible 2015.

Receiving: 60 Receptions, 850 Yards, 9 TD.
