Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
With Derek Carr entrenched as Oakland's starter, Ponder will square off against Matt McGloin for the No. 2 gig. Ponder knows new Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave's system from their time together with the Vikings (2011 through 2013). During Ponder's four disappointing seasons in Minnesota, he never developed an effective deep ball and was usually too quick to settle for check-down completions to running backs and tight ends. Ponder would be a poor fantasy plug-and-play option.

Passing: 2500 Yards, 16 TD, 15 INT.
Rushing: 250 Yards, 1 TD.
