After registering 107 yards in his first game as a rookie in 2011, Thomas has failed to eclipse the century mark again in his career. Ineffectiveness, injury concerns and fumbling problems all have contributed to Thomas entering the season as a backup to Lamar Miller. Thomas is said to be slated to be the team’s goal line back, but a paltry career average of 3.5 yards per carry suggest he may not be suited for that role either.
