Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 1 Projections
Draughn came in last year, virtually out of fantasy nowhere, and did a solid job filling in for Hyde. As the season begins Shaun Draughn has no fantasy value, but he is one to watch down the road if Hyde were to falter.
Rushing: 22 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 2 Receptions, 13 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
With Chip Kelly the new head coach in San Francisco, who knows how things will shake out in regards to the 49ers backfield. As such, Draughn will most likely have a role in the new look San Fran offense as he's proven to be a useful piece in the passing game. Starter Carlos Hyde has never been much of a receiver out of the backfield as his 23 career receptions in 21 games can attest to. We firmly expect Hyde to be the early down/goal line back, leaving the 3rd-down work for Draughn. While Draughn is the early favorite to backup Hyde, there will be competition in the form of DeJuan Harris, rookie Kelvin Taylor (Fred's son) and Mike Davis. This is a backfield that definitely needs to be monitored throughout training camp as there are plenty of moving pieces.
