Fantasy Analysis
Unlike Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson, Tannehill toiled away in near obscurity during his 2012 rookie season and was stuck with the weakest receiver corps in the NFL. Displaying poise, leadership and grit, Tannehill still set new franchise rookie quarterback records with 282 completions and 3,294 passing yards (206 yards per game), but he tossed just 12 scoring strikes. Heading into 2013, Tannehill is a breakout candidate, and a huge uptick in his production is likely. The Dolphins upgraded Tannehill’s receiver corps, adding dynamic big-play wide out Mike Wallace and quick-footed Dustin Keller. And Brian Hartline, who topped Miami in catches and receiving yards last season, moves over to the No. 2 receiver spot. In addition, presumed new starting running back Lamar Miller is a good receiver out of the backfield. Tannehill has the physical tools – good arm strength, accuracy and athleticism – to succeed. Can he put it all together? Can the Dolphins’ revamped offense jell in a hurry? We’ll see. Tannehill looks like a decent fantasy QB2 with upside.

Passing: 1850 Yards, 12 TD, 8 INT.
Rushing: 60 Yards, 0 TD.
