Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 13 Projections
Everybody knows the Detroit Lions defense has been ridiculously soft against opposing tight ends. The Lions have hemorrhaged the most fantasy points to the position. The struggling Fleener, however, has been very difficult to trust in starting lineups. In the New Orleans Saints' last six contests, he has either scored or eclipsed 60 receiving yards just once. Fleener's backup, Josh Hill, a blocking specialist, also has been playing more snaps than Fleener in recent weeks. Despite Fleener's mouth-watering matchup, consider him a boom-or-bust play.
Receiving: 4 Receptions, 43 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
Let's move down the list of the usual negative marks against a player. Is he an injury concern? Seeing that he played in all 16 games over the last three years, that's a big no. Is his quarterback unfriendly to the position? Given that he's playing with Drew Brees who is perhaps the all-time friendliest QB ever to the tight end position, that would also be a big no. Will he see a loss of workload moving from one place to another? Absolutely not. Fleener went from Indy where he had to battle another tight end in Dwayne Allen to New Orleans, where he'll be the lone guy at the position Jimmy Graham once dominated. Everything is pointing up for Fleener. If Ben Watson can have the type of year he had in 2015 at 34 years old, Fleener should be just fine.

Receiving: 50 Receptions, 450 Yards, 3 TD.
