The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Week 9 Projections
After a second NFL season in which Akiem Hicks topped 50 tackles and logged five sacks, Gary Estwick of the Biloxi Sun-Herald singled Hicks out as a potential breakout candidate in 2014. 'With Cameron Jordan poised to earn Pro Bowl respect,' Estwick said, 'it's now Hicks' turn to make a name for himself nationally. At six feet, five inches and 324 pounds, he has both the size and speed to work his way around and through offensive linemen, especially as Jordan earns more double teams.' Hicks is a talented young player with remarkable quickness for a man his size, but as last year's fantasy finish showed his role on the New Orleans defense isn't suited to IDP success. At best the third-year pro is an upside depth pick in deeper IDP leagues.
