Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DL position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
On one hand, there are more than a few reasons to doubt Julius Peppers' IDP prospects in 2014. Not only will the 34-year-old be playing for a new team this season, but with the Green Bay Packers Peppers will also play in the 3-4 for the first time. As Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated reports, the Pack plans to move Peppers around this year. 'Already in summer workouts,' Burke said, 'Green Bay has moved Peppers around. Once the full defense comes together in the regular season, Peppers may jump from a position that resembles his usual 4-3 end out wide to an OLB position, with a few snaps inside as a pass-rusher mixed in on occasion.' Right now Peppers is being selected very late in IDP drafts, and unless he loses his DL-eligibility as much as it pains me to say it the old man is undervalued.
