Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 3 Projections
With only nine targets and a 6-35-1 stat line in the first two games, Antonio Gates seems to be slowing down. But with Danny Woodhead out, the beneficiary could very well be Antonio Gates as the short passing game is critical for San Diego's success. This week he is a low end starter as his targets should ramp up. Time will tell if he is still able to produce at a high level. If he can, he could still be in a for a strong season.

Season Projections
Gates continues to be the guy we've known for the over the last decade plus. We know there are undoubtedly going to be questionable and doubtful listings heading into Sunday and Monday Night games. We also know that his injury history and age are starting to play against him more now than ever. But we also know that he has a special place in Philip Rivers' heart, that the front office is sold enough to let Ladarius Green leave in free agency, and that the time that he is on the field outweighs the possibility of lost games. Just like every other year, in most cases, having Gates for 12 games offers more value than most other TEs for a full season.

Receiving: 65 Receptions, 750 Yards, 7 TD.
