Season Projections
After two straight seasons of over 120 tackles for the Ravens, Smith has nothing to prove in Baltimore. But the veteran told Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun it was still important that he be there with the younger players at OTAs. 'I always did some,' he said. 'It's just part of the routine since I've been in the league. It was no extra effort. It's nothing significant, especially in my eyes. I'm just glad to be here putting in some work and having some fun.' Granted, Smith doesn't have the IDP upside of batterymate CJ Mosley, and nearly half his total stops the past two seasons have been assists. But that hasn't stopped Smith from becoming a safe, albeit unspectacular, IDP LB2.
