Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the LB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Smith was one of the most pleasant fantasy surprises of 2013. Signed late in free agency after a lost 2012 season, It was Smith (and not rookie Arthur Brown) who wound up replacing Ray Lewis as the heart of the Ravens' defense, responding with a career-high 123 total tackles, five sacks and a top 10 finish among linebackers in Fantasy Sharks Default IDP Scoring. However, less than half of Smith's tackles were of the solo variety, and the arrival of rookie C.J. Mosley will bring with it stiffer competition for tackles this year. The 32-year-old Smith remains a decent bet for IDP LB2 production in 2014, but IDP owners chasing last year's numbers will more likely than not be disappointed.
