Season Projections
Davis has been one of the NFL's great redemption stories over the past two years. Not only was the 31-year-old the first player in NFL history to return to action after three ACL tears, but Davis recorded a career-high 123 tackles in 2013. Coupled with four sacks and two interceptions, it was enough for a top 20 finish among fantasy linebackers in Fantasy Sharks Default IDP Scoring. Now entering his 10th NFL season, Davis made it clear to Aaron Wilson of The National Football Post how he feels about the team that stuck with him through all the injuries. 'My mindset right now,' Davis said, 'is I'm going to play for the Carolina Panthers or I'm done playing football.' Age and durability are real concerns, but IDP owners could do worse than Davis as their LB3.
