The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Mike Glennon’s favorite target should have a good fantasy outing against a sagging Buffalo defense that ranked slightly above average in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide outs during the last four weeks. Start Jackson as a fantasy WR1. UPDATE 12/7: Jackson (knee) participated in limited practices Thursday and Friday. Although he is listed as QUESTIONABLE, Jackson is expected to start. Double check his playing status Sunday morning just as a precaution.
With Jackson signing in Tampa Bay prior to the 2012 season fantasy owners doubted his ability to produce at an elite level. Boy, were we wrong. Jackson set career highs in receptions with 72 and receiving yards with 1,384. A lot of the thanks should go to stud-rookie running back, Doug Martin. Martin was better than advertised and forced defenses to respect the run opening things up for Jackson and it showed in the splits as Jackson caught 26 passes for 465 yards and three touchdowns in the first half of games while hauling in 45 passes for 915 yards and five touchdowns in the second half of games.
