Strength of Schedule

The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
After tanking as Kansas City’s designated franchise quarterback (2009-2012), Cassel is locked in as the backup to Christian Ponder heading into the regular season. Cassel wrapped up his disappointing Chiefs career with a 57.3 completion rate, a 59:44 touchdown-pass-to-interception ratio and a 19-28 record as a starter. During his most productive season (2010), Cassel threw for 3,116 yards and 27 touchdowns. Durability, however, was a problem for Cassel; he played just nine games in each of the last two seasons. If Ponder, who is on the hot seat, struggles like he did last season and exhausts the Vikings’ patience, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the start of what probably would be a short-term Cassel era in the Twin Cities. As a fantasy starter, Cassel wouldn’t be worth owning.

Passing: 2600 Yards, 16 TD, 14 INT.
Rushing: 150 Yards, 0 TD.
