Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DL position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Week 9 Projections
When conversation turns to the NFL's top defensive ends, a few names will enter the conversation. Rob Ninkovich will not be one of them. Still, the 30-year-old repaid fantasy owners who drafted him as a DL2 in 2013 very handsomely. Ninkovich's 91 tackles last year were tops among all defensive linemen. Combined with his eight sacks and two forced fumbles it was enough to rate Ninkovich a sixth-place fantasy finish at his position. Ninkovich may be hard pressed to hit that number again in 2014, and his relatively low sack numbers cap his ceiling, but there aren't many safer IDP DL2 options out there. Unfortunately, after last year's big season, Ninkovich won't be coming nearly as cheaply in drafts this year.

Can any NE homers tell me what the former genius Belichick is up to? They continue to release/cut players in the secondary, while Dowling is headed to the IR list. I realize they have the worst ranked pass defense in the league, but that doesn't ...
I'm over it. It's time for him to go. Will be trying this week to trade him for a wr on a bye week. I realize that Hernandez might start opening him up after the good game, but I just don't think that it will be enough. No Moss, no deep ...
