Season Projections
Two years ago, Cortland Finnegan topped 100 tackles and finished as a top-five fantasy defensive back in Fantasy Sharks Default IDP Scoring. Last year, Finnegan couldn't stay healthy, fell out of favor with the Rams' coaching staff and found himself looking for work after the season. Now in Miami, head coach Joe Philbin talked the veteran up while speaking with James Walker of ESPN. 'I love the way, first and foremost, that he's fit into the chemistry of the defense,' Philbin explained. 'He's got experience, he's got a history of production in this league.' Finnegan may not be the cornerback he once was, but the veteran has a track record of IDP production. Assuming he's healthy and starting, there could be some late draft value to be had with Finnegan in CB-required IDP leagues.
