Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DL position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The Oakland Raiders added a number of defensive starters in free agency this year, among them LaMarr Woodley, who spent the past seven seasons playing outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In Oakland, the 265-pounder will add a little weight and make the switch back to defensive end, the position he manned at Michigan. Durability has been a concern for the 29-year-old in recent seasons, but it's worth pointing out that Woodley has three double-digit sack seasons on his resume. If Woodley can stay healthy in 2014, there's a pretty good chance he'll outperform his draft slot.
