Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DL position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Before J.J. Watt made it 'cool' to be a 3-4 defensive end in IDP, Calais Campbell was one of few such players to post steady fantasy numbers. In fact, Campbell's ninth-place finish in Fantasy Sharks Default IDP Scoring in 2013 was the second time in three seasons he's cracked the top 10 at his position. Campbell still hasn't posted double-digit sacks in six NFL seasons, but that's more than offset by the fact he's averaged over 60 tackles a season over the past four years. Campbell may not have the fantasy ceiling of the 'elite' IDP DL, but his relatively high floor makes the 27-year-old a decent DL1 for IDP owners who wait a bit before addressing the front line.
