Fantasy Analysis
FRIDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: DeAngelo Williams (hand) is listed as QUESTIONABLE, but he is not expected to suit up. Stewart is a solid play against a Cleveland Browns defense that surrendered an average of 115 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown per game to opposing running backs since Week 12. Since Cam Newton (back) is expected to return to the starting lineup and always remains a threat to scramble, Stewart should find more running room than he did last week when Derek Anderson started. We have updated Stewart's projections.
Rushing: 95 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 2 Receptions, 16 Yards, 0 TD.

Once considered a rising star in the fantasy realm of running backs Stewart has seen his career derailed by lower body injuries that have caused him to miss 17 games in the last two years. He underwent surgery on both of his ankles prior to last season and then suffered an MCL tear in Week 14. While still only 27 years old, the injuries have taken their toll on Stewart as he has averaged only 3.6 yards per carry over his past 15 games. He is stuck in a running back by committee with DeAngelo Williams on a team where quarterback Cam Newton and fullback Mike Tolbert vulture the majority of rushing touchdowns. Don't get carried away by the reports that Stewart looked great during spring practices, as we'll need to see him stay healthy once the hitting starts.

Rushing: 800 Yards, 4 TD.
Receiving: 50 Receptions, 450 Yards, 1 TD.
