Season Projections
The Miami Dolphins probably wish they could get a mulligan on their supposed facelift al linebacker last year, as neither Dannell Ellerbe of Philip Wheeler came close to playing up to their salaries. Granted Wheeler's 118 tackles were a career high, but that rated only a 35th-place finish in Fantasy Sharks Default IDP Scoring, and Wheeler graded out dead last among 4-3 linebackers at Pro Football Focus, faring especially poorly against the run. Wheeler is expected to return to his three-down role on the weak side of the Miami defense in 2014, but the coaching staff has offered only a lukewarm endorsement of the seventh-year pro. With youngsters such as Jelani Jenkins and Jordan Tripp waiting in the wings, the hook could come fairly quickly if Wheeler struggles early in 2014.
