Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Operating as Eli Manning's backup last season, Painter made just a couple of brief mop-up appearances. He is expected to battle Josh Freeman and Ryan Nassib for a 2014 roster spot. While the 29-year-old Painter has a very strong arm, he has struggled with accuracy woes. Painter's eight career regular-season starts all happened with the Indianapolis Colts in 2011. Since Manning hasn't missed a regular-season start in nine years, Painter's chances of playing are remote. As a spot-starter, Painter obviously is not a fantasy option. If Freeman gets his act together, he could beat out Painter for the No. 2 job.
