Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the LB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
There was some speculation earlier in the offseason that after a disappointing 2013 campaign Brad Jones' starting spot with the Packers might be in jeopardy. Rob Demovsky of ESPN put the kibash on that idea on July 1. 'Linebackers coach Winston Moss insisted this offseason that Brad Jones remains one of the two starters despite an inconsistent 2013 season,' Demovsky wrote, 'and there was nothing in the offseason practices to suggest Jones' job is in jeopardy.' However, Jones' inconsistent play last year resulted in his being pulled from subpackages, with the Packers using a lot of three-safety looks defensively. There's been no indication that won't be the case again in 2014, and it hinders Jones' IDP appeal considerably.
