Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DL position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.

Despite the fact that he has yet to hit the 10-sack mark in a season during his five-year career, the Cincinnati Bengals chose Carlos Dunlap over Michael Johnson, inking Dunlap to a six-year extension in July of 2013. A wildly athletic 25-year-old who has struggled with consistency at times, Dunlap finished just outside the top-12 last year in his first year as a full-time player, and while his 7.5 sacks were a relative disappointment Dunlap's run defense was actually better than expected. As lower-end IDP DL1 go Dunlap is one of the riskier options, but he also has the ability to crack the top five if things break right.
