Week 12 Projections
As Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reported, even 18 months after tearing his ACL and MCL (and after missing all of last season) Bowman admits that his knee still ain't 100 percent. 'It hasn't been consistent,' Bowman said. 'I go out there some days and feel great. Then some days I have to fight through it. That's part of the process and I understand it. Mentally it messes with me sometime. But just to get out there and do something is good for the knee.' Bowman has insisted though that he'll be a full-go in Week 1. If he is, and if the knee holds up, there's going to be tackle opportunities galore thanks to the retirements of Patrick Willis and Chris Borland. Let's put it this way -- a healthy Bowman could easily lead the NFL in tackles.
