The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Gerhart was rumored to be on the trading block prior to the draft, but with no takers and no other running backs drafted by the Vikings, Gerhart will resume his role as Adrian Peterson’s backup barring a training camp trade. Peterson owners would be wise to use a handcuff pick to snag Gerhart, and guard against an injury, but also understand that Gerhart is a far less talented, no frills backup with limited upside.
