7/27/13: OUT FOR THE 2013 SEASON WITH A DISLOCATED HIP. 6/1/13:Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta was one of the biggest surprises at the position in 2012, posting more catches, yardage, and touchdowns than in his first two NFL seasons combined. His 61 receptions for 669 yards and seven touchdowns was enough for a top-10 fantasy finish, but it was an uneven year, with Pitta exploding in some weeks while disappearing in others. That inconsistency should be mitigated some this year by the increased looks Pitta will get now that Anquan Boldin is in San Francisco, but it's worth keeping in mind that for every week you cheer Pitta, there will probably be one where you curse him.
