5 Up
#1 Philip Rivers (QB) Los Angeles Chargers
No other quarterback will have a better final three weeks of the season than Rivers. He is coming off a couple great weeks and has great matchups to end the season. He is a must start for the remainder of your playoffs.
#2 Demaryius Thomas (WR) Denver Broncos
He played well due to a quality start from a Denver quarterback (8 receptions, 93 yards, and a touchdown). It came against a beatable Jets’ secondary, but it should give fantasy owners some confidence as he heads into another winnable matchup against the Colts’ secondary.
#3 Trey Burton (TE) Philadelphia Eagles
You need to watch Zach Ertz’s injury status heading into next week. If he cannot play, Trey Burton might be a flex play if you are stretched for tight end production. Wentz may be done for the season, but Doug Pederson will use the run game and create play action to open up the field.
#4 Rod Smith (RB) Dallas Cowboys
What a game for a fullback! He made an impact on the ground and in the passing game for a monstrous game. They play an Oakland team that let Kansas City run all over them.
#5 Corey Coleman (WR) Cleveland Browns
I know it sounds crazy to list any Browns’ player as possible fantasy producers, but he is now in an ideal situation. With Josh Gordon playing as well as he is, it lets Coleman be more of the slot/big play receiver his skill set allows him to be. He will see less over the top coverage and can make big plays.
