5 UP/5 DOWN: Week 9

5 Up

#1 Robby Anderson (WR) New York Jets

The Jets have a passing game worth taking note of and Anderson is the deep threat in their attack. If you need a flex player to have on your roster that has big play upside, Robby Anderson may be your guy.  Six catches, 104 yards, and a touchdown from Anderson this past week has shown what kind of player he can be down the stretch this season.

#2 Alex Collins (RB) Baltimore Ravens

He has become the workhorse back in the Ravens’ offense. He will get 15+ touches a game and should see solid production. If you need to take a flier on a running back, Collins is on the upswing.

#3 Marlon Mack (RB) Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are heading to the part of the season that they will start getting their future players more opportunities to really evaluate their young talent. Mack saw some solid looks against the Bengals and rewarded the Colts with some big plays and a touchdown. Expect that to continue as the Colts begin the process of continuing to look to the future.

#4 DeAndre Washington (RB) Oakland Raiders

With Marshawn Lynch being out, Washington emerged as a valuable offensive weapon for the Raiders. Expect the Oakland coaching staff to try and get him more touches to expand the offense to try and kick-start it with some better consistency.

#5 Adam Shaheen (TE) Chicago Bears

Zach Miller’s injury was horrific and I hope he comes back stronger. This means that Shaheen is now the guy in Chicago and should be a main threat from a rookie quarterback looking for a big security blanket in the passing game. He is a tight end to stash (especially in dynasty) in case he breaks out.
