Against the Odds – Week 10

Vinnie’s picking a road underdog and a home favorite in Week 10. He says sometimes you’ve got to stick with the superior quarterback, in games such as these two.

Green Bay

Minnesota (-2):

The Packers defense has been underwhelming this season, but features corners such as Charles Woodsen that excel in press coverage and should challenge speedy Bernard Berrian in a way few teams have been able to. Of course, Adrian Peterson can turn any day into a record-setting day with his relentless running. But I believe Aaron Rodgers and the rest of Green Bay’s offense has what it takes ensure a 6th consecutive victory over the Vikes.

Gimme Green Bay plus the points.

Seattle

Miami (-9.5):  The Dolphins are in the thick of a tight AFC East divisional race, with Chad Pennington playing some of the best ball he’s played in years and Ronnie Brown averaging a rushing touchdown per game (#2 in the NFL). Meanwhile, Seattle is underperforming to an extent we haven’t seen in a long time. Miami has to win by double digits in order for Vinnie to come through for you, but honestly, what do the Seahawks have going for them in this game?

Gimme Miami minus the points.
