Against the Odds – Week 3

Vinnie’s picks left something to be desired in Week 1, but he sure nailed ’em in Week 2! Here’s to hoping the streak continues …

Carolina @ Minnesota (-3.5):

The Vikings have made a quarterback switch, there’s some question as to the severity of a hamstring injury ADP suffered last week and Steve Smith is back on Carolina’s active roster. You can pass on

Minnesota, which the Panthers figure to do look good doing on Sunday.

Gimme Carolina

 plus the points!

New Orleans

Denver (-5.5): This ought to be an exciting one to watch, as some single-game stat records might be challenged. At home, the Broncos look to increase their lead in the division standings.

Denver‘s RBBC ground game is looking much more effective than that of the Saints’ Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas. And I’d take Jay Cutler and the Broncos aerial attack over a

New Orleans passing game lacking Marques Colston any day of the week.

Gimme Denver minus the points!
