Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Sunday 6:30pm |

Kansas City Chiefs |
---|
Patrick Mahomes - - Even against a good pass defense, he is a must start option. If you are concerned, he threw for 462 yards and three touchdowns in the earlier meeting. |
Clyde Edwards-Helaire - - Sounds like he is fully healthy, but likely will lose touches to Williams and Bell. Still probably has the most upside of the Chief RBs and is worth a look. |
Le'Veon Bell - - The knee is expected to be good enough for him to go, but he likely won't have a big enough role to justify a start. |
Darrel Williams - - His role is up in the air with CEH having more time to get healthier, but he appears the 2nd option. The match-up won't help, but he does have a chance to pay off. |
Tyreek Hill - - He had a decent game in the earlier meeting, assuming you consider 269 yards and three touchdowns worth giving him a shot again. In all seriousness, while they may be more prepared for Hill, not thought required on this one. Ride him per usual. |
Mecole Hardman - - Capable of making big plays, but his touches are so up and down that he is a risky play. But the attention Hill and Kelce will receive could lead to a productive day if you need to roll the dice on the youngster. |
Demarcus Robinson - - On the Covid list, but he could return depending on his test results. Still a risky option as he is inconsistent when healthy and has a tough match-up. |
Sammy Watkins - - That calf is still not 100%, but he is expected to play. A tough match-up won't help, though on this offense, he is still a threat. But he may be rusty and is the 3rd option at best. Could pay off if you need him. |
Byron Pringle - - Still not involved enough to start, though if Robinson can't go, maybe he has a bit more upside, but still hard to rely on. |
Travis Kelce - - The match-up nightmare remains a must start option, so ride him once again if you have that luxury. |
Harrison Butker - - The offense should keep rolling and give him plenty of scoring opportunities, so even against a good defense he is a worthy option. |
Kansas City Chiefs - - Picked Brady off twice in the earlier meeting, though Brady has been here before. Still capable of making some plays. Fantasy defenses likely won't be much of a factor in this potential shootout. |
Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
---|
Tom Brady - - Has been here a time or two and had a strong game in the earlier meeting, so should be a strong option per usual. If I had a choice, I prefer Mahomes by a tad. |
Leonard Fournette - - Has taken over as the main RB and faces a defense that has had some issues against the run. Jones should steal some touches, but with Fournette rolling, he should be a good option. |
Ronald Jones - - With Fournette rolling, he seems to have taken a back seat, but he should still get some touches. |
LeSean McCoy - - Still not expected to have much of a role, if any, so move along. |
Mike Evans - - Continues to roll and found the end zone twice in the earlier meeting, so he remains an excellent option. |
Chris Godwin - - Coming off a nice game and had a strong outing in the earlier meeting and with Brown likely out, he should be more involved. |
Antonio Brown - - Doubtful with that injured knee and even if he can go, likely would be limited, so will be hard to count on. |
Scott Miller - - No Brown could help his cause, but still a risky play with all the other options. Though being the No. 3 WR for the Bucs is definitely a help so he does have some upside. |
Tyler Johnson - - The rookie has shown flashes and with Brown likely out, he could have some upside. Still hard to trust with so many other options. |
Rob Gronkowski - - Has lost touches to Brate of late, though he had a big game in the earlier meeting and has plenty of experience in the big game, so he should be a nice gamble. |
Cameron Brate - - Has been busier of late and no Brown could help his cause. Not a slam dunk, but he is certainly an option that is capable of helping. |
Ryan Succop - - The offense should be able to move the ball, but against a good defense, they could struggle to finish drives and settle for field goals. |
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - - The injuries on the Chiefs offensive line could allow the Bucs talented pass rush to get to Mahomes and maybe force a mistake or two. Still hard to trust against this offense, but the Chiefs aren't an ideal option either. Flip a coin on the fantasy defenses. |
