CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 15

RB Raheem Mostert SF

Mostert isn’t the starter, but he’s surely the back to own right now in San Francisco. He’s had two huge games in-a-row on the road against the Ravens and Saints. Against the Ravens he ran for 146 yards and a score. Then last week at New Orleans, Mostert had a rushing and a receiving touchdown.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 14

RB Austin Ekeler LAC

Ekeler has been as consistent a fantasy player as you’ll find this season. He’s a good bet for 10-15 points week in and week out, which is impressive considering he’s the backup to Melvin Gordon. Ekeler does most of his damage in the passing game and has caught a touchdown pass in four of the last six games.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 13

WR DeVante Parker MIA

Parker has quietly had a very nice season for the Dolphins. In PPR leagues, he’s scored double-digit fantasy points in all but two games. He only has four touchdowns at this point, but he’s the clear number one option for Ryan Fitzpatrick and has seen a whopping 31 targets over the last three weeks.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 12

WR D.J. Moore CAR

D.J. Moore has been a model of consistency this season and is clearly the top wide receiver for the Panthers. If he didn’t have to contend with Christian McCaffrey getting so many targets out of the backfield then he’d probably be a Pro Bowler.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 11

RB Damien Williams KC

Williams is now back to being fully entrenched as the Chiefs’ starting running back. He has a great matchup looming in Week 11 on the road against the Chargers on Monday night and should easily see his 20 touches and be a big part of the offense.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 10

DB_Brandon_Carr_DAL_WR_Stefon_Diggs_MIN_1

Adam Thielen re-injured his hamstring and is likely out this week so Diggs will see a ton of targets. At Dallas isn’t the best of matchups, but we all saw what Diggs was doing the last few weeks without Thielen so expect similar production.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 9

WR D.J. Moore CAR

Moore has been a good bet for 10-12 fantasy points a week, but is lacking those explosive games that he’s capable of having from time to time. It’s tough when you have to share touches with Christian McCaffrey, but Moore is due for a blow-up game and it comes in Week 9.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 8

RB Josh Jacobs OAK

Josh Jacobs is a little banged up with a shoulder injury, but there is no reason to think that he will miss Week 8. He has a decent matchup against the Texans and should easily see no less than 20 touches for the third straight week.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 7

WR John Brown BUF

Coming off the bye week, John Brown has a dream matchup against the lowly Dolphins and should be started everywhere. Brown has a high ceiling where he could eclipse 150 receiving yards and find pay-dirt at least once.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 6

WR Terry McLaurin WAS & CB Byron Jones DAL

After starting the year with a touchdown in each of the first three games, "Scary Terry" has had a tough two game stretch. McLaurin has a dream matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday and should get back on track. He’s a must start and should find his way into the scoring column once again. Get him in your lineup.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 5

WR_Sterling_Shepard_NYG_1

Ever since Daniel Jones has taken over as the starting quarterback for the Giants, Shepard has been feasting. He’s the clear no. 1 wideout for New York and as long as he continues to see around 10 targets a game, Shepard will be a solid WR2 moving forward.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 3

RB David Montgomery CHI

David Montgomery hasn’t seen many targets in the passing game, but as long as he’s getting the majority of the carries and goal line work, then he’s going to be very solid for fantasy purposes moving forward.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 2

RB Sony Michel NEP

Sony Michel gets the Dolphins this week and unlike Antonio Brown and the receiving core, Michel should get consistent work out of the backfield. He bounces back in a big way in Week 2.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 1

CB Desmond Trufant ATL and WR Robert Woods LAR

Robert Woods has a tough matchup out of the gate at Carolina, but expect him to be busy, especially since we don’t know what to make of Todd Gurley’s work load. An 8-80-1 stat line is on the horizon for Woods in Week 1.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 17

QB Sam Darnold NYJ

The rookie QB has had his share of bad games in 2018, but he looks like he’s starting to figure it all out. Darnold has been great over the last two weeks, throwing for five touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’s making better decisions and has really built some nice chemistry with wide out Robby Anderson.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 16

RB Gus Edwards BAL DT Geno Atkins CIN

Gus Edwards should see plenty of work this weekend against the Chargers as both teams will look to run often and control the ball. It’s not the greatest matchup for Edwards, but based on his volume, he needs to be in fantasy lineups.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 15

WR Amari Cooper DAL & CB Josh Norman WAS

Amari Cooper has been putting up video game numbers and is getting the ball early and often. He’s a must start the rest of the way and is playing the type of football that could carry fantasy owners to their championship. He gets the Colts next, so enjoy the ride that Cooper is on right now.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 14

RB Aaron Jones and QB Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers

With Green Bay in disarray, Aaron Jones has been one of the only bright spots for the team. He’s found pay-dirt in five of the last six games and is proving to be a solid pass catcher.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 13

RB Austin Ekeler LAC

With news that Melvin Gordon is out for a few weeks with a knee injury, Ekeler is now an elite RB1 for fantasy owners. He possesses both running and receiving skills and will be a lock for 15-20 touches while Gordon is out.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 11

RB Dion Lewis TEN

Lewis is clearly the number one running back for the Titans and has a great matchup in Week 11 against the Colts. Derrick Henry still sees a lot of the goal line work, but Lewis out touches him nearly 2-1 every week. Look for Lewis to have a solid game both rushing and catching the ball..

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 10

WR Tyler Boyd CIN

Boyd is in line for a huge day with A.J. Green on the shelf for a few weeks. He is the clear cut number one option in Week 10 for the Bengals and couldn’t have a better matchup.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 9

RB Phillip Lindsay DEN

Royce Freeman looks like he’s on the wrong side of questionable again this week so Lindsay should see another 20 plus touches against Houston. In this day in age 20 touches out of your running back is sacred, so throw him out there as a high-end RB2 in Week 9, expecting 100-yards and a score again.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 8

WR Josh Gordon & QB Tom Brady NE

Josh Gordon has been improving each week with the Patriots as his role continues to grow. If he keeps staying out of trouble and gains the trust of Tom Brady then he could be a scary player for the next few years. Gordon had his first 100-yard receiving game for the Pats last week and played 95% of the snaps.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 7

RB Kerryon Johnson DET

Coming off the bye week, Kerryon Johnson is primed to have a good game. He’s clearly been the best running back for the Lions thus far and is starting to get more work. He’s averaging 5.7 yards per carry on the season and gets a Miami defense in Week 7 that is allowing just under 120 rushing yards per game.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 6

RB Sony Michel NEP

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 5

RB_Kenyan_Drake_MIA_1

Many people, including myself, thought Drake would be one of the fantasy breakout players of 2018. He’s been anything but that and has barely received any touches the last two weeks. Over that span, Drake has run the ball just eight times. Yes I said eight, for a total of six yards.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 4

WR Allen Robinson CHI

Allen Robinson has been the no. 1 option in the passing game for the Bears, getting a healthy 28 targets over three games so far. He has yet to find the end zone, but has put up at least 50 yards in each game with at least seven targets. It’s just a matter of time before he finds pay dirt...

WR_Quincy_Enunwa_NYJ_1

Enunwa has passed Robby Anderson as the top receiving option for the Jets. He’s healthy and clearly the favorite target for rookie quarterback Sam Darnold. He’s had 21 targets through two weeks and should continue to see double-digit targets tonight at Cleveland.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 2

RB James White NE

It seems as if nearly every Patriots running back is banged up already so James White’s usage should go up in Week 2. In a tough matchup at Jacksonville, expect New England to check down to White early and often because of the defensive pressure.

RB James Conner PIT

Well it looks like Le’Veon Bell’s holdout is going to run into the start of the season as he has yet to report to the team. This opens the door for James Conner to have a full workload in Week 1. The team has been very impressed with the second-year running back all preseason..

WR_Martavis_Bryant_PIT_1

Bryant has quietly received 22 target over the last three weeks, including 10 last week against the Ravens. CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 10

RB_Orleans_Darkwa_NYG_1

Darkwa has established himself as the lead back for the Giants. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not, but he gets a good amount of volume, which is rare for running backs these days.

CORNER LOCKDOWN: Week 8

RB_Jay_Ajayi_MIA_1

Nearing the halfway point of the season, Ajayi has been one of the bigger busts in fantasy this year. He still hasn’t found the end zone and is only averaging 3.5 yards per carry. Sure he has a couple 100-yard rushing games, but he just doesn’t look good doing it.
