TRADE SCHOOL: Week 6

RB_Charcandrick_West_KCC_1

Remember when Spencer Ware was the starter in Kansas City? Yeah no one else does either but it happened! Running backs get worn out and this season’s rookie sensation Kareem Hunt is no exception to that rule. After Sunday night it looks like Charcandrick West is most valuable as Hunt's handcuff.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 5

WR_Chris_Hogan_NEP_1

Tom Brady looks for Hogan in the red-zone where he’s received a team high 9 targets catching 3 for touchdowns so keeping up his current touchdowns pace isn't out of the question either. When it comes to the Patriots you never know who's turn it is for a monster night but the data and the film leads me to Chris Hogan this week.

TRADE SCHOOL: Week 5

RB_Tevin_Coleman_ATL_1

Why do you make trades? No seriously, I’m asking. I know why I make trades but I often wonder what the motivation is behind some of the trade questions I see each week. That’s the key word – motivation. Its a ...

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 4

WR_Adam_Thielen_MIN_1

Vegas has taken this game off the board but it needs to be on your DFS board. Many will flock to Stefon Diggs after his monster game last week but Adam Thielen has been extremely effective and only has one less target than Diggs on the year (25-24) He’ll also draw far less attention from Detroit’s top corner - Darius Slay.

TRADE SCHOOL: Week 4

WR_Keenan_Allen_SDC_1

I’ve had a ton of trade options come across my desk this week involving Keenan Allen! The bounce back candidate is soaking up the targets leading his team with 29 looks through 3 weeks. This mark is good for 4th most in the NFL and is likely the source of much of this trade buzz..

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 3

RB_Frank_Gore_IND_1

Gore is definitely splitting time with Marlon Mack and Robert Turbin but he’s still leading the snap count and he showed he’s still the man on the goal line, blasting in his lone touchdown last week from 5 yards out.

TRADE SCHOOL: Week 3

RB_DeMarco_Murray_TEN_1

Murray has been brutal through two matchups and now Tennessee draws Seattle in Nashville in Eeek 3. On top of two abysmal outings for Murray, we are now hearing about “hamstring tightness” not to mention Henry vastly outperforming the old warhorse in Week 2.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 2

WR_Larry_Fitzgerald_ARI_1

With David Johnson down for the count Larry Fitzgerald suddenly becomes the Cardinals most consistent chain mover. The Colts just got beat up by Jared Goff and his WR corps so I see no reason Carson Palmer and company won’t bounce back in this game.

TRADE SCHOOL: Week 2

WR_Davante_Adams_GBP_1

Better days are ahead for Packers receiver Davante Adams but don't forget, many were down on him coming into the season so maybe check in with the Davante Adams owner in your league and see how they are feeling about his value this week?

DFS Value Plays: Week 1

DB_Brandon_Carr_DAL_WR_Stefon_Diggs_MIN_1

The Saints have got to be the most picked on secondary in all of professional football. Their well documented struggles will be put on display Monday night in Minnesota where all eyes will be on Adrian Peterson returning to the only other team he’s ever played for. I hate to disappoint but Diggs, not Peterson, will be the star of the show!

RB Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

I got my start in this industry five years ago by launching my own website dedicated to fantasy football trade analysis. With so many excellent writers out there I felt it was absolutely necessary to carve out a niche in ...

ONE TO OWN: One RB To Own From Each Team

RB_C.J._Anderson_DEN_2

Last season was tough for C.J. Anderson. Just as he was getting his legs under him he went down for the season. Devontae Booker is already hurt and Jamaal Charles is no lock to stay healthy (assuming he’s truly healthy now). For all we know right now, Anderson could have this backfield to himself.

DRAFT DAY VALUE: Quarterbacks

QB_Matt_Ryan_ATL_1

Matt Ryan at his current ADP is the best value at the position in 2017. I don’t know if he’ll score 402 points again this season but he is a safer investment than many of those being taken around him in current drafts.

DRAFT DAY VALUES: NFC West

RB_C_J_Prosise_SEA_1

The Seattle backfield looks like to a situation to steer clear of but if I’m picking one guy to bet on it’s C.J. Prosise. The second-year running back showed us what he could do in limited action last season beginning in Week 8 when he hung 103 yards with only eight touches on New Orleans.

DRAFT DAY VALUES: NFC South

WR_Taylor_Gabriel_ATL_1

Taylor Gabriel is absolutely in that “big play-maker, boom/bust category” having averaged 16.5 yards per reception (seventh-highest in the NFL) with eight plays of 20-plus yards last season. With as potent as the Atlanta offense is, I love the return on investment the young receiver provides. He will have single-digit weeks but the explosive potential he possesses outweighs the risk at his price point.

DRAFT DAY VALUES: AFC South

QB_Marcus_Mariota_TEN_1

Weapons, weapons and more weapons! The Titans have now added Eric Decker to go along with first round selection Corey Davis. Mariota took a big leap last year posting double digit fantasy points in 10 contests despite subpar receiving options.

DRAFT DAY VALUES: AFC North

RB_Terrance_West_BAL_1

Terrance West has proven he can be a viable option when given opportunity, posting six double-digit outings last season. He could be an excellent loaner RB3 for the first four weeks of the season especially at this price.

RB_Ameer_Abdullah_DET_1

Remember this guy? When Ameer Abdullah was coming out of college there was a ton of hype surrounding him and rightly so. I distinctly remember watching a preseason game in 2015 where Abdullah put such a nasty move on a defender that his average draft position rose 12 spots that week alone!

DRAFT DAY VALUES: AFC East

QB_Tom_Brady_NEP_3

I typically would never advise taking a quarterback this early but when I look at the players going around the same time as Brady, its clear to me that "TB12" is the safest play. You are typically building the core of your team in the first 3 rounds and nailing these early picks is vital.

DRAFT DAY VALUES: NFC East

QB_Carson_Wentz_PHI_1

Given the fact that all aside from Blount contribute in the passing game, it’s safe to say the tools are in place for a second-year leap. Currently going in the 11th round of mock drafts, Carson Wentz could be a great draft day value. Just be sure to pair him with a solid QB2.
