Daily Game (DFS) Content

QB Gardner Minshew JAC

Gardner Minshew has seen minimal ownership the past few weeks but he has produced at a good price. He is averaging 19.5 DraftKings points per game and is facing the Saints that allow 24.18 DraftKing points per game to the position. His price has dropped $300 after putting up almost 30 fantasy points last week.

Josh Bynes ARI and Cooper Kupp LAR

The Rams' offense isn't anywhere as intimidating as it was at this point last season, but one person who is definitely balling is Cooper Kupp. Kupp has been outstanding thus far, and is clearly the apple of Jared Goff's eye.

DFS GEMS: Week 6

RB Le'Veon Bell New York Jets

Lost in how bad the Jets have been sans Sam Darnold is how quietly useful Le'Veon Bell has been! He has 27 receptions on 32 targets this season along with 71 rushing attempts through four games. A running back that’s south of $7,000 who is averaging more than 24 touches per game is pretty hard to come by.

WR Chris Godwin TBB

Yes, several pundits had Chris Godwin as a solid WR2 heading into the season, but how many had him as a WR1... on his own team? Godwin has actually out-produced perennial WR stud Mike Evans, and if anyone tells you they had predicted that being the case in 2019, immediately consider that person a liar...

RB David Montgomery CHI

David Montgomery is averaging just 10 fantasy points a game so far this season but that is only due to the fact that he has yet to score a touchdown. The Raiders are 16th against the run and allow 16.7 DraftKings points to the position. If the Bears get ahead early, Montgomery could rack up more stats.

The Eagles return to Philadelphia following a stunning upset of Green Bay last Thursday night. Expect them to come into this game with confidence and all guns blazing. They are hosting an inept New York Jets team who can’t stop anyone through the air.

DFS GEMS: Week 5

For as bad as Matt Ryan the NFL quarterback has been, he’s been a competent quarterback for fantasy purposes. He’s surpassed 20 DraftKings points in three out of four contests this season and he scored 19.7 points the one contest in which he missed the mark.

WR Terry McLaurin WAS & CB Byron Jones DAL

Terry McLaurin gets a divisional matchup against a very bad New York Giants defense. The Giants have allowed six receiving touchdowns and more than 100-yards to three receivers this season. They allow the second-most DraftKings points to the position (54.43 DK points per game). This game might be worth stacking everyone.

DFS GEMS: Week 4

TE Darren Waller OAK

Waller has more receptions than any tight end in football through three weeks. I do expect that to balance out a bit at some point but Week 4 does not appear to be that point. Indianapolis has been Bottom 3 against opposing tight ends in 2018 and got scorched by Austin Hooper for 66 yards and two scores in Week 3.

Philadelphia will be without DeSean Jackson and possibly Alshon Jeffery this week, allowing Agholor to start. He has a good opportunity to see double-digit targets again after getting 11 last week. This week he faces Detroit, who are giving up 300.5 receiving yards per game.

DFS GEMS: Week 3

The matchup is strong at Philadelphia against a defense that was absolutely smoked by the Atlanta receivers in Week 2. There’s risk here but with the field likely to flock to Golladay, Marvin Jones makes for a strong chance to separate from the field if he has a big game.

DFS: Bargain Bin – Week 2

Figuring out which low priced players offer both value and upside separates the sharks from the chum in DFS. Everyone knows who the stars are, and paying up for those guys is necessary to have a solid core to your lineup. But every week, there are players at the lower rungs of salary pricing that can be great additions

This stack is viable in both tournaments and cash games, and is the best value on the slate. Playing all three together will cost $12,800. That amounts to just 25% of the total salary cap, which leaves a lot of flexibility to pay up at other positions.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger Pittsburgh Steelers

Roethlisberger had a rough Week 1, finishing with 276 yards with no touchdowns and an interception.. It’s no secret that Roethlisberger is better at home than on the road as he has 64 more touchdowns and 17 fewer interceptions in his career at home versus on the road. Look for a bounce-back game..

TE T.J. Hockenson DET

Hockenson was a big surprise in week one as he caught 6 passes on 9 targets for 131 yards and a touchdown. Expect his ownership to skyrocket this week compared to the 2% that used him in Week 1. The Lions have issues on the offensive line so I expect Matthew Stafford to lean on Hockenson again this week to get the ball out quick.

DFS GEMS: Week 2

RB Alvin Kamara NOS

Kamara is certainly one of the more expensive backs on the main slate in Week 2 but he's a full $1,000 less than Saquon Barkley - I'll take that discount! There’s no telling how this one will go but Vegas expects a shootout. No matter what happens, we know AK41 is game flow-proof.

THE DIVE: Hit the Ground Running – Week 1

RB Phillip Lindsay DEN

With veteran quarterback Joe Flacco now running the offense, there should be more opportunity for second-year running back Phillip Lindsay. Although Denver’s offense never reached full steam last season, Lindsay was a rare bright spot with more than 1,000 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 15 games.

RB Le'Veon Bell New York Jets

Can Le’Veon Bell return to being the top running back in the game as a New York Jet? Can Antonio Brown remain elite with a new helmet and Derek Carr throwing him the rock? David Grey will breakdown all the matchups in this week’s Grey Report, because, “not all matchups are black and white.”

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick TB

Last year Ryan Fitzpatrick lit up the scoreboards to start the season with Tampa Bay. He had 45.28 DK points in Week 1 with almost no ownership. He followed that up with back-to-back 30+ DK point games... Fitzpatrick is now on Miami and was named the starter last week which gives him the 2nd lowest salary among all starters.

RED-ZONE: A Final Look at 2018

RB James White NE

Red Zone statistics can be a valuable tool if used correctly.  Obviously, the teams with better offenses will have more opportunities and we can use this data to exploit certain match-ups or identify players that could be overlooked while looking ...

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Wild Card Weekend

Wilson is 8-4 in the playoffs and has won every first round game he has ever played. Wilson has played well on the road this season throwing 18 touchdowns to just 4 interceptions. If everyone is expecting Ezekiel Elliott to have a big fantasy day then Wilson will be needed to throw more.

DFS GEMS: Week 17

RB Aaron Jones and QB Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers

Rodgers started last week with nothing to gain out of pure leadership. That is the kind of guy you want playing for you, fantasy or not! He took that character opportunity and turned it into a ridiculous 45.9 fantasy points as Green Bay snuck past the New York Jets.

DFS VALUE: Week 16

RB Christian McCaffrey CAR

Even though the Falcons defense hasn’t been good this season, it would be easy for them to focus on stopping McCaffrey and forcing the Panthers to try and beat them with their other receivers.

DFS GEMS: Week 16

Tampa Bay is averaging 27.4 points per game (DK) on the season and has given up at least one touchdown to enemy passers in every single contest this year. Dak Prescott had a down week at Indianapolis in Week 15 but had been playing fine football in the previous weeks, spurned by the arrival of Amari Cooper.

Coach Harbaugh indicated that Ken Dixon will get more opportunity this week and Gus Edwards has been slowed by an ankle injury. If he is splitting the touches with Edwards, it makes Dixon the better play as he is $900 cheaper on DraftKings.

DFS GEMS: Week 15

Hopkins is an obviously elite talent who dominates his teams’ target share, owning nearly 49% of all wide receiver targets among Texans wideouts. The game doesn’t have an impressive over/under at 41.5 but the Jets are best attacked via the wideouts so the offense should continue to run through Hopkins this week.
