5 UP/5 DOWN: Week 9

WR_Robby_Anderson_NYJ_1

The Jets have a passing game worth taking note of and Anderson is the deep threat in their attack. If you need a flex player to have on your roster that has big play upside, Robby Anderson may be your guy.

DFS: $DPP Analysis – Week 8

RB_Bilal_Powell_NYJ_2

Bilal Powell should be healthy and can do damage to the Falcons defense that is allowing 27 DK points per game to the position. The Falcons last week gave up 76 rushing yards to Dion Lewis while allowing James White to catch 5 passes including one for a touchdown.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 8

WR Keenan Allen LAC

The Patriots are usually great at taking away a team’s top option, making Travis Benjamin a sneaky play here but it's hard to argue with Keenan Allen’s target volume. This price is about the high water mark for me at wide receiver this week and Allen has the best matchup for the money.

STREAMING DEFENSES: Week 8

DL_Danielle_Hunter_MIN_2

The Vikings defense is one of the best in the league and they continually shut down the best offenses in the league. The Browns are not one of the leagues best offenses in fact, they may be the worst offense in the league.

5 UP/5 DOWN: Week 8

QB_Andrew_Luck_IND_1

The offensive line for the Indianapolis Colts will be the reason that Andrew Luck will not play this season. Are you going to put him behind an offensive line that gave up 10 sacks in a game?! Teams around the league have to be foaming at the mouth to face the offensive line of the Colts.

DFS: $DPP Analysis – Week 7

TE_Jack_Doyle_IND_1

After missing Week 5 with a concussion, Doyle led the Colt receivers with 7 receptions on 11 targets for 50 yards and a score. Andrew Luck will be out again this week so he'll continue to be Jacoby Brissett's safety valve at a decent price and fairly low ownership.

CONSISTENCY PLUS: Week 6

TE_Zach_Ertz_PHI_1

The tight end group has been disappointing in general thus far, but Zach Ertz has bucked that perception. The Eagles' tight end has been perched at #1 every week I've run these rankings, boasting the top scoring and consistency figures.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 6

WR_Danny_Amendola_NEP_2

Amendola ownership will be moderate but nowhere near that of Brandin Cooks or Chris Hogan. With New England a 9.5 point favorite, you’ll want to see him score in the first half before the game gets out of hand but a 20+ point effort certainly isn’t out of the question.

DFS: $DPP ANALYSIS – Week 6

RB_Mark_Ingram_NOS_1

While Alvin Kamara has caught more passes than Ingram, Ingram has double the rushing attempts. I keep rolling the dice for a big Ingram game. This week he faces the Lions who allow 21.4 DK/20.9 FD points to the position.

STREAMING DEFENSES: Week 6

Helmet_Denver_Broncos_1

The Giants will be without their top 4 wideouts (as of now Sterling Shepard is in a walking boot), they can not run the ball with any consistency, and their season is all but over. Denver on the other hand has one of the best defenses in the league and is playing at home. There are no sure things in life but the Broncos are as close as you can get.

QB_Eli_Manning_NYG_1

Now Eli Manning only has Sterling Shepard (who was hurt along with Brandon Marshall) and rookie Evan Engram as reliable receivers in the offense. Trade him if you can, or think about finding another quarterback.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 5

WR_Chris_Hogan_NEP_1

Tom Brady looks for Hogan in the red-zone where he’s received a team high 9 targets catching 3 for touchdowns so keeping up his current touchdowns pace isn't out of the question either. When it comes to the Patriots you never know who's turn it is for a monster night but the data and the film leads me to Chris Hogan this week.

STREAMING DEFENSES: Week 5

CB Byron Maxwell MIA

The duo of DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry are formidable pair but so is the Miami rush defense. The Dolphins have the 4th best rush defense in the league. With Ndamukong Suh clogging up the middle it will be tough to find holes.

THE LOWDOWN: Week 4

QB Jay Cutler MIA

You know what a good rule of thumb is for fantasy football? No matter how crappy a quarterback may be, he instantly becomes a Top-10 play if he's going up against the Saints' defense-- so that explains why you see Jay Cutler on this list.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 4

WR_Adam_Thielen_MIN_1

Vegas has taken this game off the board but it needs to be on your DFS board. Many will flock to Stefon Diggs after his monster game last week but Adam Thielen has been extremely effective and only has one less target than Diggs on the year (25-24) He’ll also draw far less attention from Detroit’s top corner - Darius Slay.

STREAMING DEFENSES: Week 4

Helmet_Green_Bay_Packers_1

Green Bay has a Top-10 defense so far this year. They are the ninth-best team in the league in quarterback sacks while Chicago has one of the worst pass offenses in the league. Chicago is also one of the worst teams in turnover differential in the league.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 3

Gore is definitely splitting time with Marlon Mack and Robert Turbin but he’s still leading the snap count and he showed he’s still the man on the goal line, blasting in his lone touchdown last week from 5 yards out.

DFS: $DPP Analysis – Week 3

WR_DeAndre_Hopkins_HOU_1

Although Hopkins is averaging 64 receiving yards per game this season he is seeing a boat load of targets. In Week 1 he saw 16 targets and last week 13 targets. That is almost half of all the passes DeShone Kizer has attempted. As long as the rookie is throwing Hopkins’ way as much as possible, the potential for a big game is there.

DFS VALUE PLAYS: Week 2

WR_Larry_Fitzgerald_ARI_1

With David Johnson down for the count Larry Fitzgerald suddenly becomes the Cardinals most consistent chain mover. The Colts just got beat up by Jared Goff and his WR corps so I see no reason Carson Palmer and company won’t bounce back in this game.

The Saints have got to be the most picked on secondary in all of professional football. Their well documented struggles will be put on display Monday night in Minnesota where all eyes will be on Adrian Peterson returning to the only other team he’s ever played for. I hate to disappoint but Diggs, not Peterson, will be the star of the show!
