Daily 10 – August 10

#10 – Travis Hafner has probably played his last game with the Indians, and to celebrate Jason Kipnis came down with a stiff neck!  Yeah!

#9 – Matt Moore is on fire, 25 K’s vs. 7 BB’s and just 3 ER over 25 2/3 IP’s as he’s won 3 of 4.

#8 – Jason Kubel’s two home runs say happy short schedule day!

#7 – The Astros got shut out.  Oh, that’s normal?  Well, they traded for Tyler Greene.  Still nothing?  Umm, oh!  Brett Wallace had 3 hits?  Seriously, that’s it.  There’s nothing else on this team.  I’m fairly sure Jordan Zimmermann tried to take naps between innings just because he could.

#6 – Brett Jackson was slid to 7th in the order, just like most people that K in 9 of his first 11 AB’s.  If you picked him up, drop him.  If he’s still on waivers, leave him there.

#5 – Make a note for next season when you’re looking at pitchers coming off major surgery, sometimes it takes time for them to get it back together.  Adam Wainwright is 3-1 over his last 5 with 35 K’s vs. 5 BB’s over 36 1/3 IP’s.  This is not a mirage.

#4 – Welcome back, Evan Longoria!  3 for 5 with 2 RBI and an extra base hit, his stroke is back.  Now, just keep that hamstring intact.

#3 – Sorry about Wei-Yin Chen, Mark Reynolds and Felix Doubront too.  So goes the risk when you play with the streaming fire.

#2 – So lets play with it some more!  Need an arm this weekend?  The Indians got to the lefty Doubront, but that’s just one in a season full of lefty arms that have dominated them.  Try Franklin Morales tomorrow night.

#1 – Need a bat?  Jon Jay is on fire, 11/21 with a home run and 2 SB over the last 7 days.
