A wild Week 10 is in the books and we are starting to see which teams are legit and which ones are fakin’ the funk. Hopefully your season long teams are still in the hunt but if not, waste no time getting into as many DFS contests as you can each week! Don’t take it for granted, the NFL season will be over before you know it and then we’ll be stuck playing fantasy basketball or golf to survive the winter! Seriously though, get in there, mix it up and have some fun – that’s what it’s all about!
Before we dive into our Week 11 DFS value plays lets hold ourselves accountable and see how we did in Week 10:
Josh McCown QB, New York Jets – 13.48 points
Both teams fell pretty flat in this one. Thank goodness he tossed that late touchdown or this one could have looked really bad!
Case Keenum QB, Minnesota Vikings – 29.06 points
We crushed this pick! Who would have thought Teddy Bridgewater on the sidelines would have given Keenum so much motivation?
Ty Montgomery RB, Green Bay Packers – 14.80 points
This one was going so well! Aaron Jones even got hurt giving all the carries to Montgomery… until he also went down after aggravating his rib injury. Nevertheless, we’ll take it.
Orleans Darkwa RB, New York Giants – 12.80 points
Well he didn’t put up the points we hoped for given the match up but he probably didn’t kill you either.
Lamar Miller RB, Houston Texans – 8.40 points
Leonard Fournette RB, Jacksonville Jaguars – 6.60 points
I wish Jacksonville would have lost this game just so they can realize how dumb it was to give Fournette such a small workload in the second half of this game. Unreal play calling but I’ll lose this bet every time when the match up is this good.
Robby Anderson WR, New York Jets – 18.50 points
Last second touchdowns still count, the streak continues!
Sammy Watkins WR, L.A. Rams – 12.10 points
Well I knew a Rams receiver would have a good game, I just picked the wrong one! Glad Sammy caught a touchdown but Robert Woods is the one to start in this offense until further notice.
Demaryius Thomas WR, Denver Broncos – 15.40 points
Emmanuel Sanders had the bigger yardage game but DT got the score. That’s back-to-back outings with a touchdown.
Adam Humphries WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 3.70 points
Kyle Rudolph TE, Minnesota Vikings – 8.70 points
Disappointing given the matchup. Keenum threw four touchdowns in this one so it wasn’t a bad bet — we just weren’t included in the party.
Rob Gronkowski TE, New England Patriots – 11.40 points
If we took all the Patriots’ tight end work and gave it Gronk this game, his stats would have been amazing. Too bad that’s not how it works but the match up call was correct vs. the tight end position.
