Eli Manning ($7,700) – Eli Manning is a perfect contrarian play. I highly doubt Eli will be owned in GPP formats for the obvious fact that he hasn’t had a good statistical game yet this season. One other reason why I think he will be under-owned is the fact that the whole country saw last Monday night just how shaky the Giants offense can be when they aren’t clicking. I think all this should change this Sunday night however. The Packers as we all know by now have struggled defending opposing No. 1 WRs. They were torched by Stefon Diggs in Week 2, and then they were torched by Marvin Jones in Week 3; you can bet on it that OBJ torches the Packers secondary this week! I think Eli, and OBJ get things going this weekend in a game that should have them behind early. Don’t be surprised if Eli throws for 3 TDs at Lambeau Field.
Ryan Fitzpatrick ($6,900) – Ryan Fitzpatrick is someone I have my eyes on in GPP lineups. I’m projecting that the Jets fall behind early at Heinz Field; this will in turn make the Jets extremely pass happy for their game this week. Fitzpatrick will make you sweat for fantasy points, but when the game is finally set and done, it won’t surprise me one bit if he ends up with 23 fantasy points. The Steelers defense is still a beatable unit; don’t think last week’s performance against the Chiefs will be a common theme going forward. Roster Ryan Fitzmagic in a couple of GPPS, and try to pair him up with his best pal Brandon Marshall.
Duke Johnson ($5,300) – I like Duke Johnson not because of the matchup in this game. I like Duke Johnson for the potential game flow factor that will make him get a lot of garbage-time receptions against the Patriots. The Patriots should make light work of the Cleveland Browns at First Energy stadium; they should have a monster lead by the time the 3rd quarter comes rolling along. Johnson has an 8-reception upside game in him this week, and if he were to get a touchdown along with his 8 receptions you will then have yourself a top-shelf RB1 for the weekend that is going to go under owned in DFS.
Terrance West ($6,400) – Terrance West is going to go under-owned this weekend for the simple fact that he is a boring person to roster on your DFS teams. However, one thing that isn’t boring for me is starting a RB against the pathetic Redskins rushing defense. They have yet to stop any RB this year, and even made Isaiah Crowell look like the next coming of Barry Sanders. West should shoulder the load once again this weekend. I’m predicting a rushing yard performance over 100 yards, and at the very least 1 rushing TD. I highly advise to have West on your FanDuel team over more popular picks like Frank Gore, and Jerick McKinnon.
