DFS: Plays of the Week – Week 14

QUARTERBACK

  1. Matt Ryan $7,300 at Los Angeles Chargers (25th)
  2. Justin Herbert $8,300 vs. Atlanta (31st)
  3. Ryan Tannehill $7,900 at Jacksonville (29th)
  4. Teddy Bridgewater $7,000 vs. Denver (17th)
  5. Russell Wilson $9,000 vs. New York Jets (30th)
  6. Kirk Cousins $7,500 at Tampa Bay (21st)
  7. Tom Brady $7,800 vs. Minnesota (15th)
  8. Aaron Rodgers $9,100 at Detroit (23rd)
  9. Patrick Mahomes $8,900 at Miami (5th)
  10. Deshaun Watson $8,000 at Chicago (9th)

Skinny: I absolutely love what I imagine this Atlanta/Los Angeles Chargers game to be … Atlanta cannot seem to run the ball with much effectiveness, nor has it shown the consistent ability to stop anyone on defense — so this one should be fun … expect fireworks all afternoon between Matt Ryan and Justin Herbert … Matt Ryan is my favorite play given that his price tag is $1,000 less than Justin Herbert’s, but I absolutely love both plays … I really like Tennessee in a bounce back spot this week … Tennessee looked like a dumpster fire against Cleveland, but Ryan Tannehill pays off in a big way in Week 14 at a $7,900 price.

RUNNING BACK

  1. Aaron Jones $8,700 at Detroit (32nd)
  2. Derrick Henry $9,600 at Jacksonville (28th)
  3. David Montgomery $6,600 vs. Houston (31st)
  4. Ezekiel Elliott $7,600 at Cincinnati (17th)
  5. Austin Ekeler $7,500 vs. Atlanta (4th)
  6. James Robinson $8,000 vs. Tennessee (26th)
  7. Dalvin Cook $10,200 at Tampa Bay (3rd)
  8. Christian McCaffrey $10,000 vs. Denver (20th)
  9. Jonathan Taylor $7,000 at Las Vegas (29th)
  10. Ronald Jones II $6,300 vs. Minnesota (15th)

Skinny: It is Aaron Jones week … Detroit is dead last in the league against the running back position so it is no surprise that Aaron Jones is going to be a very popular play this week … Derrick Henry let many fantasy owners down this past week in what was one of his worst games of the season … as I mentioned earlier, a big bounce back week is coming for the Tennessee offense and Henry is the focal point against a Jacksonville defense that he has historically obliterated … I know that it has been very bad for Ezekiel Elliott owners, believe me I do … if there is ever a spot you should trust him it is Week 14 … I have to imagine the game script will be as good for Elliott as it will be at any time for the rest of the season … give Ezekiel Elliott a shot in this one at a reduced cost of $7,600.
