Get your sleeping bags and s’mores makers ready – it’s camping time!
OK, it’s not that kind of camping. It’s even better. It’s NFL Training Camp time, and that can mean only one thing.
It’s also fantasy draft season – or will be soon.
With that in mind, the guys at the Fantasy Football Feeding Frenzy are kicking off their 2017 position previews – beginning with the glamour boys who make the big bucks, get the chicks and hog up all the awards.
It’s time to talk quarterbacks.
They will discuss elite fantasy signal-callers like New Orleans’ Drew Brees, New England’s Tom Brady and consensus No. 1, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers. They’ll also tell you why you probably don’t want them.
There will be discussion of young up-and-comers like Tennessee’s Marcus Mariota, Tampa Bay’s Jameis Winston and Oakland’s Derek Carr, and whether any of them are set to take the “next-step” and join the ranks of the very best under center.
Then there’s the large group of “second tier” weekly starters, guys like Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger, Detroit’s Matthew Stafford and Los Angeles Chargers’ Philip Rivers – the group where many fantasy pundits believe the true value lies at the position.
Can disappointing quarterbacks like Arizona’s Carson Palmer and Jacksonville’s Blake Bortles recapture the past and go from afterthought to weekly starters? Are there any late-rounders of particular interest? What about this year’s rookie class?
Throw in some sleeper and strategy talk, and the folks at the Fantasy Football Feeding Frenzy have everything you need to know about fantasy quarterbacks ahead of your draft.
Join them Wednesday, August 2 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Come on in — the water’s FINE!
