Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs – Saturday 4:35pm
Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck – – A great match-up and potential shootout should make him a very strong starting option once again.
Marlon Mack – – Coming off a big day as he continues his late season hot streak and should benefit from facing a Chiefs defense that has been susceptible to the run as well.
Nyheim Hines – – Still not touching the ball enough to feel good about his chances (In fact, he didnb’t get a tough against the Texans), so hard to trust Hines.
Jordan Wilkins – – Continues to see little action, so you should strongly consider other options.
T.Y. Hilton – – That ankle is getting closer to 100%, but still could be a bit of a factor. Though he should benefit from facing a struggling Chiefs pass defense in what should be a bard burner.
Dontrelle Inman – – Has seen more use late in the season and found the end zone against the Texans. A good match-up should make him worth a look to see if he can keep the good times rolling.
Chester Rogers – – Has his moments and maybe the match-up will allow him to surprise if you need to reach, but still hard to feel good about his chances.
Zach Pascal – – Has some upside thanks to a good match-up, but still hard to count on due to his usually limited role.
Ryan Grant – – Still too inconsistent to justify a start, even though he does have a great match-up.
Eric Ebron – – A great match-up and an expected high scoring affair should give him a ton of upside and make him a nice starting option once again.
Adam Vinatieri – – Should be busy in a potential shootout and on the road he could be forced to kick some field goals.
Indianapolis Colts – – The defense has been rolling, but will have their hands full on the road against the high-powered Chiefs. But this is Mahomes first playoff test, which could lead to some mistakes.
Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes – – While he faces a solid pass defense, one that has come on of late, he has been other worldly and is playing at home. Though who knows if the playoff pressure will get to him, but he remains a must start option.
Spencer Ware – – Still fighting that injured hamstring and even if he plays, who knows how he will be used. Probably best to play it safe with other options.
Damien Williams – – If Ware goes, that could cut into his action, but Damien Wiliams may be the safest of the Chiefs RBs if you need to utilize one. Still a risky play with potentially four RBs in the mix, but if I needed to start one, he would be my guy.
Charcandrick West – – Likely won’t be used enough to consider him much of a fantasy threat.
Darrel Williams – – The rookie got to finish the last game, but who knows if that carries over to the playoffs, so I’d continue to look elsewhere for fantasy help.
Tyreek Hill – – Coming off another big regular season and can light up the score board at any time, so continues to be a must start option.
Sammy Watkins – – Still battling that injured foot, but is looking like he could be ready return, at least in a limited fashion. He has the ability to get the job done in a potential shootout, so could be worth a roll of the dice if he plays, but still a risky play.
Chris Conley – – Continues to be very inconsistent, so he remains a tough option to rely on.
Kelvin Benjamin – – Who knows if they spent the last couple weeks getting him ready, so maybe he pays off. I’d still be hard pressed to look his way.
Demarcus Robinson – – Still not getting targeted enough to feel good about his fantasy chances.
Travis Kelce – – Expect him to be quite busy once again, so remains arguably the best fantasy tight end in the game.
Demetrius Harris – – May get an occasional bone thrown his way, but still not used enough to justify a shot.
Harrison Butker – – The offense should keep him plenty busy and maybe a Colts defense that has been playing will will force them to settle for some FG attempts.
Kansas City Chiefs – – The defense continues to struggle, though at home they have had some solid days. But still will have their hands full against a good Colts offense.
