There’s a lot of all-purpose backs that are a pure joy to watch: Gurley, Barkley, McCaffrey… it seems like all the best RBs in the NFL are Marshall Faulk/Roger Craig clones. Certainly nothing wrong with that, but there’s one RB that reminds me of an old-school, bruising runner: Chris Carson. It’s a shame that Carson has been plagued by injuries during his young career, because he’s someone I enjoy watching as he smashes into defenders (as well as leaping over them).
