NEW AGE RANKINGS: Week 6

A new type of ranking system for a new breed of fantasy football players … the New Age Rankings.

Terms Explained:

PPG: Points per game; calculated by standard points per reception scoring.
CoV: Coefficient of Variance; a measure of a player’s consistency.
Normalized PPG: the player’s PPG score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).
Normalized CoV: the player’s CoV score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the lower the better).
N.A.R.: the player’s New Age Ranking, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).

Quarterbacks

On the heels of his record-breaking Week 5 performance, Drew Brees moves into the #2 spot in the QB rankings, right behind wunderkind Patrick Mahomes... I like Deshaun Watson‘s game, but he was pummeled last week against Dallas; I’m not sure if it’s him or coach Bill O’Brien calling the play execution, but someone in the Texans’ organization has to limit their franchise QB’s exposure to all those hard hits… C.J. Beathard has strung together fairly solid back-to-back fantasy outings, and might make an interesting QB2 pickup for your team.
