NEW AGE RANKINGS: Week 9

A new type of ranking system for a new breed of fantasy football playersthe New Age Rankings.

Terms Explained:

PPG: Points per game; calculated by standard points per reception scoring.
CoV: Coefficient of Variance; a measure of a player’s consistency.
Normalized PPG: the player’s PPG score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).
Normalized CoV: the player’s CoV score, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the lower the better).
N.A.R.: the player’s New Age Ranking, expressed as a value between 0 and 100 (the higher the better).

Quarterbacks

Looks like the situation in Tampa Bay has flipped once again: Ryan Fitzpatrick is back under center. While the QB situation in Tampa is a topic of debate in some circles, in this circle there’s no debate: Fitzpatrick has performed 5x better than Jameis Winston… Speaking of the Bucs, their opponent this weekend is Carolina, whose QB Cam Newton has been (somewhat) quietly among the better performers this season.
