Wide Receivers

The trades this week that sent Golden Tate to the Eagles and Demaryius Thomas to the Texans, respectively, will definitely have fantasy repercussions. Of the three, the safest bet is Tate, who should match his Detroit output, but perhaps be a bit more consistent from week to week; Thomas figures to have the potential top move up the NAR rankings (currently sitting at #44). But the player with perhaps the best risk/reward profile is the Broncos WR Courtland Sutton. Sutton (NAR: #80) is the rookie WR who will replace Thomas as the Broncos’ starting receiver opposite top dog Emmanuel Sanders. Sutton is the type of explosive, big receiver who should thrive in the Red Zone who will likely remind Broncos’ fans of a young Demaryius Thomas.
