1. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs continue to be on waiver wires, and should be picked up for this weekend. They are facing the Jets, giving them the highest floor of the Week 7 games. As always, the possibility of multiple turnovers exists with Sam Darnold, so scoop this unit up and lock them in your lineup.
2. New Orleans Saints
Facing the Bears has been a recipe for a nice floor in terms of fantasy D/ST. Chicago has one of the least efficient offenses in the league, and are averaging just 20 points per game. This gives the Saints a nice floor, especially since their defense is getting healthy. Nick Foles is a very hot and cold QB, and is currently cold right now. Sacks and turnover possibilities give this unit some nice upside as well.
3. Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers will face off against the Broncos in an AFC West divisional matchup this Sunday. Again, this is a nice spot to pick on a struggling offense. Denver is averaging just 19 points a game, and a few weeks ago beat the Patriots by only kicking field goals. Their offensive line can struggle at times and is prone to taking penalties, which slows down most of their drives. Meanwhile, Los Angeles is getting reinforcements back on defense, which should give Drew Lock problems all game long. Look for Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram to relentlessly pressure him all afternoon.
4. Green Bay Packers
Picking on below average quarterbacks can be a winning strategy, and Kirk Cousins fits that criteria. He has been throwing interceptions at an alarming rate; in 4 of 6 contests he has thrown multiple picks. The Packers have a poor run defense but a decent secondary. Expect Aaron Rodgers to shred the Vikings awful secondary, making Minnesota constantly play from behind. Anytime Cousin’s is forced to throw 30-plus times in a game, you can count on some turnovers and sacks. Green Bay has some nice upside.
