Week 11 had a generous serving of scrumptious performances from Tony Pollard, Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, and Davante Adams. Unfortunately, some players also left their fantasy owners still feeling hungry as several star wideouts’ performances fell under expectation. However, kickers Tyler Bass and Brett Maher each surprised their owners with a heaping serving of points!
Week 12 is ahead which will include three games on Thanksgiving (Buffalo @ Detroit, New York Giants @ Dallas, and New England @ Minnesota).
Taylor Heinicke, QB, Washington
Heinicke has a longer leash as Washington’s quarterback especially with wins in 4 of his last 5 starts. Although his stat lines fall in the QB2 or QB3 range, he should have a solid game in Week 12 when Washington hosts the Atlanta Falcons who have given up the 8th most fantasy points to quarterbacks. With improved chemistry with Terry McLaurin in the last couple of games, expect Heinicke’s best start of the year in Week 12.
Week 12 forecast: 225 passing yards; 2 TD; 15 rushing yards
Samaje Perine, RB, Cincinnati
It’s rare to have a RB1 “filler” for one week, but Cincinnati Bengals’ backup running back Samaje Perine meets this criterion for Week 12. With Joe Mixon likely sidelined due to a concussion this weekend, Perine is a must-start given his huge performance replacing Mixon last week. Although the road matchup against the Tennessee Titans is not overly favorable, Perine will play a major role in both the ground and passing attack. Start Perine this weekend as a one week rental.
Week 12 forecast: 100 total yards; 1 TD
Parris Campbell, WR, Indianapolis
When Matt Ryan is at the helm, Parris Campbell becomes a solid WR2 option for fantasy owners. Campbell has at least 5 targets in five of his last six games as well as three touchdowns during this span. Campbell should feast this Monday night at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers who have surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing wideouts.
Week 12 forecast: 80 receiving yards; 1 TD
Logan Thomas, TE, Washington
Veteran tight end Logan Thomas seems fully recovered from his calf injury earlier this season and is coming off a season high 65 receiving yards. With Heinicke commanding the offense, expect more of the same from Thomas especially this weekend when Washington hosts the Atlanta Falcons who have surrendered the 8th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Consider Thomas a solid TE2 this weekend.
Week 12 forecast: 50 receiving yards; 1 TD
Kansas City Chiefs D/ST
The Kansas City Chiefs have a juicy home match up for Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing defenses, and only seem to be getting worse with Matthew Stafford in concussion protocol, Cooper Kupp sidelined, and now Darrell Henderson waived. Kansas City’s defense has also been on fire with 18 sacks and 5 forced turnovers over the last four games. This game may get ugly quickly. Consider Kansas City Chiefs’ defense a top option this weekend.
