How to read the table: The table shows how a team will do Passing and Rushing in the upcoming week of the NFL. Red is HOT, Yellow is WARM, White is NORMAL, Light Blue is COLD and Dark Blue is FREEZING COLD. Play players from teams that are Red and Yellow, avoid players from teams that are Light or Dark Blue and expect average days from teams that are White.
Carolina Panthers at Pittsburgh Steelers – Thursday 8:20pm | |||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
This is perhaps unexpectedly, a challenging game for the Panthers to win. Being that it is in Pittsburgh and the Steelers can throw almost at will on Carolina, that combination will be too difficult to overcome. Worry about your Panthers in fantasy; we’ve knocked Cam Newton down a few pegs this week too but it’s still hard to sit Cam Newton just because of what he can bring on the ground. Just know there are a few more warning flags with Newton this week than usual and if you have options, exercise them.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts – Sunday 1:00pm | |||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
There are going to be a few surprises in the NFL this week and it all starts here where Indianapolis looks all-world in their dominating win over Jacksonville. The Jaguars expect to have Leonard Fournette back but that just confuses the situation. Leonard Fournette and Carlos Hyde are both running backs that need repetition to get their legs going and neither will get it. Then there’s the Blake Bortles question mark — it’s always a question as to which team he’s throwing to. Listen to me now and hear me later but there are two primary options that will fuel the Indianapolis offense this week, the combination of Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines will open eyes wide this week with the damage they will do. Sidebar: Just keep an eye on Mack as he’s been a limited participant in practice this week. The second option that will be indefensible will be the combination of Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle underneath at tight end. For essentially the first time this season, the Colts will have exactly what they built their team to try and be and it’s going to be eye opening.

Buffalo Bills at New York Jets – Sunday 1:00pm | |||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
If you start players from either side of this equation you’re already in dire straits. The only real place to find fantasy stats will be when the Jets rush the ball so Elijah McGuire or even Isaiah Crowell, could be used in a pinch.

New Orleans Saints at Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday 1:00pm | |||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Wow. Just wow. New Orleans will be the highest flying offense of the week with what is shaping up to be a playoff contender type of team. Apart from Dez Bryant (not yet) if they’re wearing a New Orleans uniform then you want to play them. Cincinnati could have used A.J. Green for this game, he would have been the great equalizer, so instead it’s Tyler Boyd that will take his best shot and what a shot he’ll take. Expect a huge day from Boyd as the New Orleans secondary won’t have an answer.
